Tough Relationship Among LA Lakers
The lockout of NBA lasts for more than half month, but there is no clue for any positive action by all sides to improve the situation. The NBA game will surely be injured, and so as those wealthy bosses. The players are angry more than sad, because the decision about the salary has hurt them badly.
However, the LA Lakers seems worse than any other teams. In addition to the outer problem of NBA lockout, the Lakers still has its own big problem that is uneasy to handle with. As it has been known to all, the relationship between the players and the administrators is getting tougher and tougher. All evidences just show how selfish and unreasonable the Big Boss is.
The tough relationship in the Lakers is due to the authoritarian of the administrator. Actually, as a team, different people as players, coaches and administrators are playing different roles; and a good communication between each of them is helpful for the victories. Take Kobe Bryant(find Kobe Bryant Shoes), Brain Shaw and Ronnie Lester as an example; although they are playing different roles, their good communication between each other did help the team win the Championship twice out of last three years.
Unfortunately, the former way of good communication has disappeared. The administration level has led itself in an era of authoritarian. No one of them will take any advices or suggestions into consideration when there is any decision to be made. And that makes those who had brought big contribution to the team much unhappy.
And the cause to this problem is the appointment of new coach. As for that, Kobe(find Zoom Kobe VI) ever publicly stated that he was for Shaw as the new coach; and he said the final decision was up to the administration level. If he would be asked for some advices and he would frankly speak out his mind. However, no one asked Kobe for any advice, and Shaw himself knew the appointment of Brown from the media not the Lakers Office. And Lester, when his contract with the Lakers is due, the Lakers drove him away directly, no more emotion.
Undoubtedly, what these big bosses had done has broken the Lakers boys’ hearts. Shaw and Lester have left; Kobe and Artest are still in the contract for years. If the tough relationship in the Lakers continues and will never to be easy, then the NBA Final Championship will be harder to come back to them.
